Seven new albums are expected to rock the charts within the coming months.
Starting off strong, Charli XCX is debuting 12 original songs to accompany Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights on February 13.
Starring Margot Robbie (Barbie) and Jacob Elordi (Saltburn), the adaptation of Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel explores themes of forbidden love and tragedy with a dark, intense vibe.
Originally, Charli was only asked to write one song. But as she explored Wuthering Heights’ unique atmosphere, she fell in love with it and suggested an entire album.
“The language of this world felt so opposite from the world I had been inhabiting for the past 2 and a half years. I began to feel a sense of freedom again,” said the “Apple” singer, according to ELLE Fashion Magazine. “I wanted to dive into persona, into a world that felt undeniably raw, wild, sexual, gothic, British, tortured and full of actual real sentences, punctuation and grammar.”
“I saw the trailer in the theaters, and I was like wow, that voice sounds familiar! I’m honestly not that interested in the movie, but I’m going to see it anyway because she’s such an amazing artist. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with, especially because it’s so different from Brat,” said sophomore Salomon Messulan.
Currently, three singles that will make up the album have been released: “House” (feat. John Cale), “Chains of Love” and “Wall of Sound.”
Just two weeks later, Bruno Mars is releasing The Romantic, his first studio album since 24K Magic in 2016.
Track three of the album, “I Just Might,” shot to the top of the charts upon its release, sporting almost 110 million streams on Spotify. It remains in the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100 for 4 weeks following so far, according to Billboard.
Despite only having a taste of the album, tickets for his subsequent tour were sold in record time. For the 70 shows (including the 32 dates added after the initial announcement) across North America and Europe, over 2 million tickets were bought in just one day, according to Live Nation.
To fill the gap between these albums, Mars has remained active by producing hits in partnership with other artists, such as “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga and “APT” with Rosé.
Another one for the history books: Harry Styles’ tour for Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally contains 30 shows in New York City’s Madison Square Garden, and no other locations in the United States.
With presale just barely concluding, the majority of the performances are already sold out.
Styles explained that his inspiration for the album came from seeing LCD Soundsystem, an American dance-punk band, in concert.
“You’re kind of watching them be so like immersed in it…the inspiration from them came of like, ‘oh, that’s how I want to feel when I’m on stage’. And then that kind of led to the kind of music I was making,” he said, according to NME.
His single “Aperture” was released in January 2026, accompanied by a music video featuring a parallel to the famous Dirty Dancing lift.
Fans are anxiously awaiting the March 6th unveiling, and are sharing their untamed joy on social media.
Speaking of another game-changing tour, Noah Kahan announced his new album The Great Divide releasing on April 24th, with shows to follow across the United States and Canada.
With surge pricing and resellers running rampant across most ticket selling platforms, fans are struggling to afford access to concerts. Despite this issue being present for years, Noah Kahan is among the first of artists to make a change.
Junior Mia Eskin said, “There are plenty of concerts I really wanted to go to, but once resale prices hit hundreds of dollars, it just wasn’t realistic for me. For some, I’ve listened to them for years, so it was really upsetting.”
According to his official website, “The tour will be using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange. Tickets will be non-transferable and can only be resold at face value on Ticketmaster.”
This prevents tickets from being used by people other than the purchaser directly.
Leading up to his announcement, Kahan had been teasing the release on a secret tiktok account with the username “thelastofthebugs,” referencing a line from his song “The View Between Villages.”
For a while, users thought it was a fan account, until Kahan posted “you weren’t supposed to find this… only the last of the bugs ever do.”
The account includes clips from upcoming songs, the presave link for the album, and the release date.
To end it off, Hilary Duff is releasing her first album in over 10 years on February 20th: Luck…or Something.
Her 6th album explores her life in the past decade, including navigating fame, motherhood, and adulthood.
“I am often asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry,” said Duff in a statement, according to Variety. “The album title is my way of answering that question. It’s luck, but there’s also a lot of weight in the ‘…or something’. Many of the things I’ve been through along the way are held there, and I feel like ultimately that’s what’s shaped me.”
Since her announcement on instagram, and release of her single “Mature” in November, her music has seen an 80% boost in streams on Spotify.
Simultaneously, she is working on a docuseries that documents her re-entry to the world of music, directed by Sam Wrench.
Wrench has also produced the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour documentary and A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter.
Overall, the upcoming months are packed with plenty of new songs to listen to. The next Grammy awards will definitely be a night to remember.
